Earners League Spin to Win: Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Earners League Spin to Win (the "Offer"), you are signifying that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Elite Digital Inc., which administers the Offer on behalf of the Sponsor.

The Offer is open to individuals who, at the time of participation, are currently enrolled students of York University, including the Schulich School of Business, are physically present at a participating Earners League activation on campus or are participating online where the Sponsor has made online participation available, and have a valid email address.

No minimum age applies. Participation is open to enrolled students regardless of age.

The Offer is not open to employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of the Sponsor or the Administrator, their respective parent, related or affiliated companies, advertising or promotional agencies, or any other entity involved in the administration of this Offer, or any member of the immediate family or household of any of the foregoing persons. Student staff and work-study leads engaged to run an activation are not eligible to participate in the Offer they are working.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "immediate family" means mother, father, siblings, children, and spouse or common law partner, irrespective of place of residence.

The Offer is intended for individual participation only. Groups, clubs, organizations, and commercial or non commercial entities are not eligible to participate as such. Void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law.

Participation is available at each Earners League activation during the published hours of that activation, from 3 September 2026 to 17 September 2026, while supplies of Rewards last, as set out in section 9.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the participation period, and will update the Offer website or promotional materials if this occurs. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of this Offer will be the official time keeping device or devices used by the Administrator.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to participate or to receive a Reward. Nothing is sold, and no money changes hands at any point in this Offer.

The only requirement to participate is to join the Earners League by completing the sign-up form and providing express consent to receive emails about the Earners League ambassador program.

• Join the Earners League by completing the sign-up form, either on a Sponsor device at an activation or by scanning the printed code onto your own device. The form asks for your first and last name, a valid email address, program of study, year of study and expected graduation year.
• Tick the email consent box. This consent is required in order to join, and it is express consent for the purposes of Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation. A second, separate and entirely optional box covers the use of photographs and video. Declining the optional consent does not affect participation, the spin, or the item received. Neither box is pre-ticked.
• Answer a skill-testing question. This is a requirement of Canadian law and every Participant answers one.
• Take your one spin. If you signed up on your own device, the spin runs on that device straight away. If you signed up on a Sponsor device, that device runs the spin.
• Your Reward is confirmed on screen and by email. Rewards are not handed over at the time of the spin: the Sponsor emails you when your Reward is ready to collect on campus, and the email tells you where and when.

If you participate using your own device, standard data charges may apply from your wireless service provider. Participants are solely responsible for any such charges.

Ticking the email consent box is the ordinary way to join, but it is not the only way to take part. Anyone who would prefer not to receive emails from the Earners League may still take one spin and receive an item.

To do so, email hello@earnersleague.ca with the subject line "Spin without consent" before the end of the participation period, or ask a member of the Earners League team at any activation. You will be given a spin on the same terms as every other Participant, and your contact details will be used only to administer that spin and will not be added to any marketing list.

Taking part this way does not change the Reward you may receive, the odds of receiving any particular item, or any other term of this Offer.

Every Participant who joins the Earners League and takes a spin receives one item (a "Reward"). Nobody spins and receives nothing.

The wheel determines which item a Participant receives. There is a guaranteed minimum Reward, and a Participant may receive an item of greater value. Which item is received is determined by chance.

Schedule A, set out at the end of these Terms and Conditions, lists each item allocated to the Offer, the quantity of each, the approximate odds of receiving it on a single spin, and which item is the guaranteed minimum Reward. Schedule A forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Rewards must be accepted as awarded. Rewards are not transferable or assignable, have no cash value, and are not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Reward or component with a comparable item of equal or greater value, including if an advertised item becomes unavailable for any reason.

The Sponsor has allocated a limited quantity of each item, as set out in Schedule A. The Offer runs while supplies last. As individual items are exhausted they are withdrawn from the wheel and cease to be available.

The guaranteed minimum Reward remains available throughout, so a Participant who spins after other items are exhausted still receives an item. The Offer may conclude before the end of the participation period if all available Rewards have been allocated.

One spin per person, for the life of the Earners League program. This limit attaches to the individual and not to a device, a session or an activation. A Participant who has already spun at any activation, or online, may not spin again, whether at a different activation, on a different device, or using a different email address.

A Participant who attempts to spin a second time will be told that a spin has already been taken, and staff can look up the item that was received.

• The Sponsor and the Administrator may reject or invalidate any participation that appears to be bulk, group or automated in nature, or not in keeping with the letter and spirit of the Offer.
• The Sponsor and the Administrator may impose reasonable limits where suspicious activity or abuse is suspected.

Rewards are not handed over at the time of the spin. When a Participant spins, the Reward they receive is reserved for them, and the Sponsor sends an email to the address given at sign-up when that Reward is ready to be collected. That email states where on campus to collect it and during which hours.

Rewards are collected in person on campus. The Sponsor may ask for a valid student card, or for the confirmation email, in order to confirm that the person collecting a Reward is the Participant who earned it.

Rewards that are not collected within sixty (60) days of the Sponsor sending the ready-to-collect email may be forfeited, returned to the prize pool, and awarded or disposed of at the Sponsor’s discretion. There is no substitution and no cash alternative. The collection location and its hours may change, and any change will be posted on the Earners League website.

It is the Participant’s responsibility to provide a valid email address at sign-up and to check it. The Sponsor is not responsible for an email that is not delivered, is filtered, or is not read.

No responsibility is accepted by the Sponsor or the Administrator for any inability of a Participant to accept or collect a Reward for any reason.

Anyone the Sponsor reasonably believes to have provided false or inaccurate information, or the information of another person, attempted to obtain more than one spin, used automated systems, scripts or bots to participate, or engaged in any activity not in keeping with the letter and spirit of the Offer, may be disqualified in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor or the Administrator, and may be subject to any other remedies available at law.

In the event of a dispute regarding who participated, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of participation will be deemed to be the Participant.

"Authorized account holder" means the person assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, educational institution, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A Participant may be required to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder.

Personal information collected in connection with this Offer is collected by the Schulich School of Business, York University, and is governed by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) of Ontario.

Personal information will be used to administer the Offer, to fulfil Rewards, and, where express consent has been given, to send information about the Earners League ambassador program. Personal information is processed by the Administrator on behalf of the Sponsor and is stored on servers located in Canada.

Consent to receive email may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting the Sponsor. Withdrawing consent does not affect any Reward already received.

Questions about the collection and use of personal information, and requests for access to or correction of personal information, should be directed to the Sponsor. The privacy notice for this Offer is published at earnersleague.ca/privacy.

By participating in this Offer, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Offer.

Participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims or damages arising out of or in any way connected with participation in this Offer, the administration of the Offer, or the allocation, delivery, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Reward.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties will not be liable for any failure of websites, servers, networks or hardware, any technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, any incorrect or inaccurate information related to or used in connection with the Offer, any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access, or any injury or damage to the device of a Participant related to or resulting from participation in the Offer.

Everything regarding this Offer, including the Offer website and all Rewards, is provided as is, without warranty or condition of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement or title, except as may be expressly provided by the Sponsor or required by applicable law.

If any event beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, including an act of God, pandemic, public health emergency, strike, lockout or other labour dispute, war, riot, fire, flood, campus closure, or government action, interferes with the proper conduct of the Offer, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate the Offer, in whole or in part, without prior notice, subject to applicable law.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withdraw, amend or suspend this Offer, or to amend any portion of these Terms and Conditions, including the Reward pool, in any way and for any reason, at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

If any term of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such term shall be severed, and the remaining terms shall be construed and enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Offer may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of Participants and the Sponsor in connection with the Offer, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Offer or any Reward shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances will a Participant be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for actual out of pocket expenses.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any disclosures or other statements contained in any Offer related materials, including print or online advertising, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version of these Terms and Conditions and any French translation, the English version will prevail to the extent permitted by law.

This Schedule forms part of these Terms and Conditions. It is generated from the same records the wheel draws from, so it describes the wheel actually in use and not a wheel as it was once planned.

Odds are approximate and are calculated as each item’s share of the total across all items currently on the wheel. They describe a single spin at the opening of the Offer. As individual items are exhausted they are withdrawn from the wheel under section 9, which changes the odds for every item that remains. The guaranteed minimum Reward is never withdrawn, so every Participant who spins receives an item.

Approximate retail values are to follow. The Sponsor has not yet confirmed a value for each item, and figures are deliberately not estimated here. This Schedule will state the approximate retail value of each item once those figures are confirmed.
