The Earners League Spin-to-Win: Official Rules
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Joining the Earners League is free.
1. The promotion
- Promotion
- The Earners League Spin-to-Win (the "Promotion")
- Sponsor
- Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, Ontario (the "Sponsor")
- Administrator
- Elite Digital Agency Inc. (the "Administrator")
- Territory
- Ontario, Canada
The Promotion has two parts.
The guaranteed gift. Every eligible person who joins the Earners League and completes a spin receives, at minimum, the guaranteed gift described in Schedule A. There is no element of chance in whether you receive it. It is a promotional giveaway.
The contest. The spin wheel determines whether you receive an item of greater value than the guaranteed gift, and which item you receive. This allocation involves chance and is governed by these Official Rules.
2. Contest Periods
The Promotion runs in discrete Contest Periods. Each Contest Period has its own announced start date, end date, entry method, fulfilment method and prize pool, published in Schedule A of these Rules. New Contest Periods may be announced from time to time on the Earners League website.
Contest Period 1 (Orientation): 3 September 2026 to 17 September 2026. Entry in person at Earners League activation booths, either on a booth tablet or by scanning the QR code onto your own device. Prizes are handed over at the booth at the time of the spin.
Contest Period 2 and later (Digital): dates to be announced, expected from approximately November 2026. Entry online. Prizes reserved for campus pickup as described in section 7.
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to currently enrolled students of the Schulich School of Business, York University.
- There is no minimum age requirement. Entrants who are under the age of majority in Ontario may enter and receive a prize on the same basis as any other entrant. See section 4 regarding use of images.
- Employees of the Schulich School of Business, York University and Elite Digital Agency Inc., and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible.
- Residents of Quebec are not eligible.
- The Sponsor may require verification of eligibility, including presentation of a valid student card, before releasing any prize, and may decline to release a prize where eligibility cannot be verified.
4. Entrants under the age of majority
Entry and prizes are unaffected by age. However, where an entrant who has not confirmed that they are 18 years of age or older gives consent for their image or likeness to be used in Sponsor marketing, that consent will not be acted upon until it has been reviewed by the Sponsor, and the Sponsor may require parental or guardian consent before any use. This does not affect the entrant’s eligibility to enter, to spin, or to receive a prize.
5. How to enter and how the spin works
- Join the Earners League by completing the sign-up form, either at an activation booth or on your own device. Joining requires your name, email address, program information and consent to receive emails about the Earners League. Joining is free.
- Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, administered after entry and before any prize is revealed. One retry is permitted. After an unsuccessful retry a new question is issued. A correct answer is required to claim a prize.
- Spin the wheel. The wheel determines which prize you receive.
One entry and one spin per person, for the lifetime of the Earners League program. This limit applies across all Contest Periods, all activation events and all entry methods. A person who has spun in an earlier Contest Period is not eligible to spin again in a later one. Entries are deduplicated by email address. Multiple entries by the same person do not create additional spins.
6. Prizes and odds
- Every entrant who completes a spin receives at least the guaranteed gift.
- The available prizes, their approximate retail values and their quantities for each Contest Period are listed in Schedule A.
- The wheel allocates prizes using probabilities weighted by remaining prize availability. A prize whose available quantity is exhausted is automatically removed from the wheel and the remaining probabilities are redistributed. Some prizes are subject to daily limits. As a result, the odds of receiving any particular prize depend on the number of entrants and on remaining prize availability at the time of your spin, and change over the course of each Contest Period. The guaranteed gift is always available.
- Prizes are non-transferable, may not be exchanged and have no cash value. There are no substitutions except by the Sponsor, which may substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value if an item becomes unavailable.
7. Receiving your prize
Contest Period 1, in person: prizes are handed over at the activation booth at the time of the spin.
Contest Period 2 and later, online entry: the prize is reserved for you and shown in your Earners League Rewards Centre as ready for pickup, together with a pickup code. Prizes must be collected in person at the campus location stated in your Rewards Centre, on presentation of your pickup code and a valid student card. Prizes not collected within sixty (60) days of the ready-for-pickup notification are forfeited and returned to the prize pool, with no substitution and no cash alternative. Reminder notices are sent before expiry. The pickup location and its hours may change, with notice on the Earners League website.
8. Personal information
Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion is collected by the Schulich School of Business, a faculty of York University, and is handled in accordance with the Earners League privacy notice and applicable law, including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Ontario). Email consent is obtained separately at sign-up in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, and you may unsubscribe at any time without affecting any prize you have already won. Data is processed using service providers that store data in the United States, as described in the privacy notice.
9. General conditions
- The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the operation of the Promotion, enters multiple times, provides false information or otherwise violates these Rules.
- By entering, entrants release the Sponsor, York University and the Administrator, and their respective officers, employees and agents, from any liability in connection with the Promotion or any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The Sponsor reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion, or any Contest Period, at any time, with notice posted on the Earners League website.
- Decisions of the Sponsor on all matters relating to the Promotion are final.
- These Rules are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
Schedule A: Contest Periods and prize pools
The prize schedule for each Contest Period, including every item, its quantity and its approximate retail value, is published as a separate appendix to these Rules. It is maintained as a swappable appendix on purpose, so that adding a Contest Period or changing a prize pool never requires these operative clauses to be redrafted. The appendix for Contest Period 1 is pending Sponsor confirmation.
